If in doubt about your skin problems discuss this with your doctor first. Patients with rosacea should not use Quinoderm Cream. Neither should those patients who have previously experienced an allergic reaction, such as a rash, itching or irritation, to any of the ingredients. Quinoderm Cream should not be allowed to come into contact with the mouth or the eyes. In a few isolated cases overreaction to Quinoderm Cream may occur. To minimise this possibility, select a small area of skin behind the ear, apply the cream and leave for twelve hours. If severe irritation or pronounced redness occurs do not proceed. If there is no reaction, treatment should be carried out as directed below. Care should be taken to avoid contact with dyed fabrics as this preparation may adversely affect fastness. For external use only. In the unlikely event of an allergic reaction occurring, face oedema (swelling due to accumulation of fluid in the tissue spaces) may be a consequence. Under these circumstances consult your doctor immediately. Quinoderm Cream should not be used at the same time as other topical agents due to possible chemical interaction. If your symptoms persist or if your condition worsens or if irritation, itch or rash occurs, stop treatment and consult your doctor or pharmacist. It is common for some slight redness of the skin to occur during the early weeks of treatment. This should gradually disappear as your skin becomes accustomed to the treatment. If any other undesirable effect occurs, this should be reported to your doctor or pharmacist.
